Multi Skilled Field Engineer - (CNC Service and Applications) Location: Midlands Based | UK Wide Travel Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 Basic DOE + Company Car

Are you a multiskilled Service Engineer with Applications knowledge looking to develop into a true all-round CNC Machine Tool Engineer?

We're recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing CNC machine tool manufacturer, supporting customers across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically strong engineer looking to develop into a well-rounded CNC Service Engineer with full training, including factory training in Spain.

The Role

  • Service, repair, maintain, install and commission CNC Turning Centres ranging from compact lathes through to large twin-spindle, twin-turret machines.
  • Electrical & mechanical fault finding (50/50).
  • Breakdown response, planned maintenance, installation and commissioning of machines.
  • Work on Fanuc-based CNC controls and machine parameter settings.
  • Support customers with basic CNC programming and applications advise.
  • UK travel with around 2 nights away per week.

Requirements

  • Experience servicing CNC machine tools or similar industrial machinery (Heavy plant, industrial automation, air conditioning or hydraulics backgrounds are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills (24v circuits, drives, switchgear, hydraulics & pumps).
