The predicted salary is between 38000 - 45000 £ per year.
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer for a full time, permanent position covering London and Greater London. This engineer will be covering the planned and reactive maintenance within offices and schools across the region.
Responsibilities include:
- Dealing with minor electrical works such as replacing light sockets and light fittings
- Basic plumbing that will include replacing taps and cisterns
- Compliance checks including emergency lighting, tap temperatures, fire alarm testing, and plant room checks
- Fabric works including fire door inspections, painting, and decorating
The right person for this position will already have a strong maintenance background. They need to have mechanical and electrical experience as well as fabric work experience. We are happy to look at an engineer that has a City and Guilds or NVQ in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, carpentry, or plumbing.
Requirements:
- Strong Commercial Building Services Maintenance Experience
- City and Guilds or NVQ qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience dealing with maintenance in a school environment would be a major advantage
- Must be willing to travel throughout London and Greater London
- Strong knowledge of commercial compliance
- Good site health and safety knowledge
- Must be able to complete a DBS check
- Fire door training would be a bonus
Package:
- Basic salary subject to experience level
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Working day is Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm
