MIG/TIG Welder - Role Summary
Job Title: MIG/TIG Welder Pay: £20.00 per hour Reporting To: Production Manager / Fabrication Manager
Working Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-3:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am-12:30pm
- 36.5 hours per week
- Overtime Available at 1.5X (Sunday 2x)

Key Requirements
- Previous experience as a MIG/TIG Welder within a fabrication, engineering, or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong practical MIG and TIG welding skills.
- Experience with preparation, measuring, grinding, drilling, and finishing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to safely use fabrication equipment and lifting equipment where trained.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team.
Main Duties
- MIG and TIG welding of fabricated components.
- Preparing, aligning, and tack-welding components to drawings and specifications.
- Setting up and safely operating welding and fabrication equipment.
