We are recruiting for an FM Contracts Manager to join a growing Building Services and Facilities Management business in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Hard FM professional with a strong background in Hard FM contracts, account management and business development. The role combines contract management, client relationship management and revenue growth, making it ideal for someone who enjoys developing existing accounts while identifying new opportunities.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Hard FM contracts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction while delivering profitable growth.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Managing contract renewals and client retention
    • Developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients
    • Building relationships with Facilities Managers, Property Managers and Contractors
    • Conducting site surveys and identifying lifecycle replacement opportunities
    • Preparing scopes of work, quotations and costings
    • Delivering projects and maintenance works through to completion
    • Managing client relationships and contract performance
    • Preparing proposals and technical presentations
    • Negotiating contracts and securing new agreements
    • Working closely with operational, technical and commercial teams
    • Monitoring sales activity, margins and conversion rates
    • Identifying opportunities to grow recurring revenue streams

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a Hard FM contracting environment
  • Experience working for a national or multi-site FM provider
  • Strong account management and client relationship skills
  • Experience managing maintenance contracts and service delivery
  • Proven business development or revenue growth experience
  • Understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance and lifecycle works
  • Commercial awareness and contract management experience
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
