The Company
My client is an industry leading Audio Visual Integrator into a niche market. They are growing and are looking for a new Audio Visual Installation Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a thriving company and work on Audio Visual Installations across the North West and further, if that sounds of interest then please apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Install a variety of AV equipment at client locations across the country
- Working on projects from 1st fix through to commissioning
- Traveling across the country to client sites (staying away between 1-4 nights a week)
- Mentor junior engineers and assist in their development
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Prepare equipment off-site prior to on-site installation
Skills & Experience
- Experience working in the AV Industry, preferably in installation – residential & event installation experience desirable
- Experience with AutoCAD or other design software (desirable)
- High attention to detail and problem solving
- Understanding of Video Distribution, Audio Processing, Projection, and more
- Industry certifications desirable but not essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Happy with nationwide travel including stay aways
Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of as a Audio Visual Installation Engineer being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required. We are looking for a conscientious, reliable person capable of working on their own and as part of a team.
