Location: Stoke on Trent to Birmingham

Package: £34,000 - £36,000 + Bonus (between £12,000 and £14,000), BMW 3 series hybrid, 22 days holiday, Life assurance, Pension, Training opportunities and Legal advice.

Responsibilities

  • Machine Installation: Set up machines to manufacturer specifications, conduct tests, and ensure smooth operation.
  • Warranty Repairs: Diagnose and resolve issues covered by warranties, order parts, and complete repairs to standard.
  • Chargeable Service Work: Assess non-warranty repairs, agree on costs, and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain high customer service standards.
  • Attend training on new machine features and provide annual maintenance checks.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience as a service or maintenance engineer within Machine tools.
  • Sliding head lathe experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel across the UK.
  • UK driving license.
  • Valid passport.
