Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team. This role involves working across Lincolnshire, maintaining and repairing a variety of mobile plant equipment, including dumpers, loading shovels, excavators, and other machinery. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of mobile plant equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service while working on-site across Lincolnshire.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mobile plant machinery, including dumpers, loading shovels, and excavators.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Day-to-Day
- Travel to various sites across Lincolnshire to service and repair mobile plant equipment.
- Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
- Respond to breakdowns and provide timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Keep the service van stocked with necessary tools and parts for efficient on-site work.
