Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor; Location: North of England (with occasional travel to Scotland); Salary: Starting at Β£32,000 (DOE)
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join our expanding compliance team. The role will predominantly involve carrying out Legionella risk assessments on hot and cold water systems across a variety of client sites in the North of England, with occasional travel to Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys working independently while maintaining high technical and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACoP L8, HSG274 and relevant British Standards
- Assess hot and cold water systems across commercial, industrial, and residential premises
- Produce clear, accurate, and compliant risk assessment reports
- Identify risks and provide practical control and remedial recommendations
- Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts, and internal teams
- Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor
- Strong knowledge of hot and cold water systems
- Hold C&G or WMSoc qualification for Legionella Risk Assessments
- Sound understanding of ACoP L8 and HSG274
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable Experience (Advantageous but Not Essential)
- Process water systems
