The Role
As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you\’ll assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic and mechanical systems. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on both in-house and site-based projects, gaining valuable industry experience and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, installation, and testing of hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and support mechanical repairs
- Work with senior engineers on client-site projects and in the workshop
- Maintain clear documentation and service records
- Adhere to all health and safety standards and company procedures
You must have –
- 1–2 years’ experience in a mechanical or hydraulic engineering environment (including internships or placement years)
- Understanding of hydraulic systems and schematics are advantageous but not essential.
- Hands-on mechanical experience is essential.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- UK Driving Licence (required for site visits)
- Hunger to learn and develop through extensive training.
