Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team in Peterborough.

This role involves working on a wide range of heavy plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, loading shovels, excavators, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of heavy plant machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
  • Ensure all machinery is maintained to the highest standards to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate service records and complete necessary documentation.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on‑site.
  • Travel to various locations in and around Peterborough to carry out mobile repairs and servicing.

Qualifications

  • A valid CSCS card or NVQ in Plant Maintenance is essential.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Travel to client sites in a fully equipped company van to carry out servicing and repairs.
