Salary: £37,000–£46,000 basic DOE
Package: OTE £55,000–£70,000 (includes door-to-door pay)

The role: Join a CNC machine-tool service team delivering breakdown response, diagnostics, repairs, PPM and commissioning. You’ll be the on-site expert keeping customer machines running safely and reliably.
What you’ll do:
- Diagnose, repair and service CNC machine tools at customer sites
- Perform installs/commissioning; complete PPMs and health checks
- Electrical/mechanical fault-finding; read schematics and service docs
- Controls work on Heidenhain and FANUC systems
- Produce accurate service reports and parts usage logs
- Liaise with customers on root cause, fixes and preventative actions
What you’ll need:
- Proven CNC field service experience
- Strong control knowledge: Heidenhain and FANUC
- Solid electrical/mechanical skills; hydraulics/pneumatics awareness
- Able to interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
- Full UK driving licence; right to work in the UK; regional travel comfort
Nice to have:
- Mazak/Mazatrol or Mitsubishi exposure
- Safety/LOTO and PPM best-practice familiarity
- Spares identification and escalation experience
