About the Business
An established M&E contractor specialising in commercial and industrial design & build projects. A significant portion of our work is within the film and TV production sector, where we are proud to collaborate with a number of high-profile clients.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering electrical projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Managing the preparation of project plans, risk assessments, and health and safety documentation
- Developing and overseeing project budgets, including cost control and forecasting
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to support effective project delivery
- Planning and monitoring project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment
- Leading and mentoring project teams
- Identifying and analysing project issues, and implementing solutions to support successful outcomes
- Managing electrical projects from concept through to completion
- Producing project plans and ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales
- Managing budgets, resources, and personnel to meet time and cost constraints
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and relevant industry standards
- Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates
- Reporting on project performance to senior management
Essential Criteria
- ECS 18th Edition Gold Card
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
- Proven background in commercial and industrial electrical installation, including electrical control systems
- Ability to interpret electrical specifications, schematics, drawings, block cable diagrams, BoQs, and BoMs
- Good understanding of electrical standards
- Ability to prepare tender submissions and complete PQQs to a high standard
- High level of attention to detail, with strong commercial awareness and understanding of project costs
- Excellent IT skills, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
