Electro/Mechanical Fitter
Location: Warrington
£30,000 – £35,000 plus cycle to work scheme, life assurance childcare vouchers, employee assistance program, death in service, pension and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days
Hours of work: 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday with time off in lieu for additional hours worked
We are a tertiary water treatment company specialising in industrial water treatment and have been established for over 15 years.
Due to growth, we are now looking for an Electro/Mechanical Fitter to join our experienced team and help drive the business forwards.
Your responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- PLC Programming & wiring up panels
- Installing new equipment, such as motors, pumps, and gearboxes, ensuring they are properly aligned and connected.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, inspections, and minor repairs to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical and electrical equipment, using various tools and techniques.
- Identifying and resolving issues with equipment, often requiring knowledge of electrical schematics and mechanical principles.
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and installations.
Skills and Qualifications
- MUST hold electrical qualifications
- Experience and working knowledge of PLC Programming
- Mechanical knowledge
- Ideally a minimum of 12 months in a similar role
