An established M&E contractor specialising in commercial and industrial design & build projects. A significant portion of our work is within the film and TV production sector, where we are proud to collaborate with a number of high-profile clients.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering electrical projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Managing the preparation of project plans, risk assessments, and health and safety documentation.
- Developing and overseeing project budgets, including cost control and forecasting.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to support effective project delivery.
- Planning and monitoring project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Leading and mentoring project teams.
- Identifying and analysing project issues, and implementing solutions to support successful outcomes.
- Managing electrical projects from concept through to completion.
- Producing project plans and ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales.
- Managing budgets, resources, and personnel to meet time and cost constraints.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and relevant industry standards.
- Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates.
- Reporting on project performance to senior management.
Essential Criteria
- ECS 18th Edition Gold Card.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Proven background in commercial and industrial electrical installation, including electrical control systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical specifications, schematics, drawings, block cable diagrams, BoQs, and BoMs.
- Good understanding of electrical standards.
- Ability to prepare tender submissions and complete PQQs to a high standard.
- High level of attention to detail, with strong commercial awareness and understanding of project costs.
- Excellent IT skills, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
