Cooling Tower Engineer
Location: Inside the M25 / London
Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE + company van, fuel card, phone, tablet, life assurance, pension and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days.
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cooling Tower Engineer to join a specialist organisation operating across the water treatment, cooling water and water hygiene sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with hands‑on experience working with cooling towers and evaporative cooling systems who is looking for a long-term career with a well-established and growing business.
The Role
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and inspections of cooling towers and associated systems
- Undertaking cleaning, disinfection and remedial works
- Supporting cooling tower water treatment programmes
- Carrying out sampling and basic water quality checks
- Identifying issues and recommending appropriate remedial actions
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with relevant legislation, industry guidance and company procedures
- Completing accurate service reports and technical documentation
- Liaising professionally with customers and providing technical advice where required
- Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities
You should ideally have
- Previous hands‑on experience working with cooling towers or evaporative cooling systems
- Knowledge of cooling water systems and associated risks
- A strong understanding of health & safety requirements
- A full UK driving licence
