AV Service & Commissioning Engineer

The Company:
A multi-sector AV integrator covering jobs of all shapes and sizes across hospitality, stadia, corporate, and superyacht sectors.
Job Purpose Summary:
To provide service, maintenance, and commissioning support to AV projects in the hospitality, corporate, and superyacht sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attending reactive service calls to diagnose and resolve issues with AV equipment on site
- Configuring control systems and audio DSPs
- Uploading prewritten programme files to control systems and DSPs
- Attending proactive maintenance visits
- Covering primarily the London area with occasional travel to other regions of the UK and overseas
- Assisting with basic installation work when required
- Maintaining a safe and tidy workspace
- Adhering to health and safety policies
Qualities and Skills Required:
- Full UK driving licence
- 3+ years\’ experience as an AV Engineer
- Direct experience in servicing or commissioning AV systems
- Configuration experience with QSYS is highly beneficial
- Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
In Return:
If successful within your application, you will receive an annual salary of between £30K – £35K per annum, depending on experience, along with overtime rates of up to 1.5X. Ongoing training will be provided, including certifications, and you will also receive 20 days annual leave, bank holidays, and your birthday off. Specific training offered will include Crestron and QSYS programming.
All necessary tools will be provided. Travel expenses will also be covered, and if you\’re working away from home, you will receive paid accommodation, meals, and an overnight bonus.
