Location: Belfast

Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 DOE

Overview:

We are working with a leading UK-based distributor within the security and fire industry, supplying CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, Fire, and Gate Automation products across a growing multi-branch network. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Branch Assistant to join the team at their Belfast branch. This is a key role supporting the Branch Director with sales administration, trade counter activity, and warehouse operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and has strong customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking, packing, and loading deliveries accurately and safely
  • General stock control and warehouse organisation
  • Receiving and checking incoming deliveries against supplier paperwork
  • Restocking shelves and managing incoming goods
  • Processing product returns
  • Ensuring stock is clearly labelled and correctly stored
  • Providing trade counter support and dealing with customer queries professionally
  • Processing customer orders, administration, and basic invoicing
  • Supporting overall branch operations as required

About You:

  • Experience in a trade counter, wholesale, or distribution environment (ideally electrical or security sector)
  • Previous warehouse and/or warehouse administration experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Comfortable with basic IT and data entry systems
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence (required for occasional delivery cover)
