Job Title: Aluminium TIG Welder
Pay: £20.00 per hour
Reporting To: Production Manager / Fabrication Manager
Working Hours
- Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-3:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am-12:30pm
- 37.5 hours per week

Key Requirements
- Previous experience as an Aluminium TIG Welder within a fabrication, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong practical TIG welding skills, with the ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds on aluminium materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with preparation, measuring, grinding, drilling, and finishing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- Ability to safely use welding, fabrication, and lifting equipment where trained.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Main Duties
- TIG welding of aluminium fabricated components to the required specification.
- Preparing, aligning, and tack-welding aluminium components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Setting up and safely operating TIG welding and fabrication equipment.
- Carrying out preparation, cleaning, grinding, drilling, and finishing work as required for aluminium products.
- Checking finished welds and fabricated components for quality, accuracy, and conformity to specifications.
- Identifying and reporting weld defects, quality issues, or production problems to management.Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
