I am looking for a driven and commercially minded Account Manager / New Business Sales Executive to join my clients growing telecoms team in Sheffield. This is a dual role combining account management and new business generation, giving you the opportunity to both nurture existing clients and drive new revenue. You’ll manage a portfolio of 40–50 SME accounts (1–15 users), building strong relationships while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell a range of telecoms solutions. Alongside this, you’ll proactively generate new business leads for the field sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of 40–50 existing accounts
- Build strong client relationships to maximise retention and growth
- Identify and deliver upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Promote a range of solutions including:
- Mobile Connectivity (Broadband, Leased Lines)
- Voice (VoIP / Hosted Telephony)
- Data solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in account management, telesales, or B2B sales
- Telecoms experience is highly desirable (mobile, connectivity, VoIP, etc.)
- Proven track record of upselling, cross-selling, or new business generation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Target-driven with a proactive, results-focused mindset
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities
