We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Development Associate/Manager, ideally based in London – but flexible - to support our acquisition strategy across the UK, Ireland and broader Europe. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Corporate Development and M&A, this role requires strong M&A passion/skills, with a nice breadth of experience across the full M&A cycle, ideally experience in the TICC (Testing, Inspection, Certification and Compliance) sector, and the proven ability to execute and manage multiple acquisitions simultaneously.

Key Role Responsibilities
- M&A Origination and Pipeline Management
- Identify and assess potential acquisition targets aligned with our Group's strategic objectives.
- Develop relationships with business owners, brokers, and industry professionals to source high-quality opportunities.
- Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of M&A opportunities, targeting multiple acquisitions annually.
- Market Research and Industry Analysis
- Conduct in-depth research on the TICC sector to identify emerging trends and areas of opportunity.
- Provide comprehensive financial, operational, and strategic assessments of potential targets.
- Deal Execution and Integration Support
- Lead and support the end-to-end M&A process, including overseeing due diligence, negotiation, and execution of transactions.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including divisional leads, finance and legal teams, to ensure seamless deal completion.
- Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with stakeholders, including advisors, brokers, and TICC industry contacts.
- Act as a trusted representative of our Group within the TICC sector.
Person Specification
- Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in managing full-cycle M&A transactions, including origination, negotiation, but not full integration.
- Ideally some experience understanding of the TICC sector.
