Cash & Payments Associate to join the team.

You'll play a key role in ensuring supplier payments are processed accurately and on time while helping to deliver an efficient, high-quality service to both internal stakeholders and suppliers.

About the Role

Working within a fast-paced Shared Services environment, you'll take ownership of day-to-day Cash & Payments activities, ensuring payments are processed accurately, financial controls are maintained, and supplier relationships are supported through excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process supplier payment runs, ensuring payments are made accurately and on time.
  • Verify invoices, approvals and payment information in line with company procedures.
  • Complete daily bank postings, payment allocations and reconciliations.
  • Process employee expenses and support urgent payment requests when required.
  • Respond to supplier payment queries and work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure all payment activities comply with internal controls, financial policies and audit requirements.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end reporting activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes and ways of working.

About You

  • At least 3 years' experience in Cash & Payments, Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
  • Experience preparing and processing supplier payment runs.
  • Strong understanding of payment processes, financial controls and reconciliations.
  • Experience validating invoices and supplier information before payment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience using ERP systems (Net Suite would be an advantage).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet strict payment deadlines.
  • Experience working within a Shared Services environment.
  • Multi-entity finance experience.
  • Employee expenses processing.
