We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to support revenue growth by securing new business opportunities and developing existing client accounts. The successful candidate will work independently to achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs while building strong customer relationships across the testing and laboratory services sector.

The role can be home-based or Leicester office-based and will involve regular travel to client sites, ECT laboratories, and industry events.

  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and sales activity.
  • Develop and grow existing customer accounts.
  • Prepare quotations using LIMS and maintain accurate CRM/ERP records.
  • Manage and progress the sales pipeline effectively.
  • Attend weekly and monthly sales meetings and provide performance updates.

Proven B2B business development or sales experience, ideally within technical, laboratory, or testing services. Strong communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills. Experience using CRM, ERP, and LIMS systems. Full UK driving licence required.
