We are a market-leading Health & Safety Consultancy and accredited training provider, delivering a wide range of consultancy services and accredited training courses to clients across the UK construction sector.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our regional team in Bedfordshire.

The Role

As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for conducting inspection visits to construction sites and providing consultancy support to a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, with a strong focus on construction and house building.

For the right candidate, there will also be opportunities to:

  • Deliver accredited Health & Safety training courses
  • Assist with CDM advisory work (please note that training delivery and CDM work are not compulsory, and full training/support will be provided where required)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Health & Safety inspections and audits across construction sites
  • Provide practical Health & Safety consultancy advice to clients
  • Produce reports and follow-up recommendations
  • Support clients in maintaining compliance with Health & Safety legislation
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Opportunity to assist with accredited training delivery and CDM advisory services

Essential:

  • Previous construction industry experience, particularly within house building
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (NEBOSH Construction Certificate preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own regional workload
  • Full UK driving license

Desirable:

  • Experience delivering Health & Safety training
  • Exposure to CDM advisory work
