Overview
This is a unique opportunity to lead, define and develop S4C's digital and multi-platform content strategy.
The Digital Content Commissioner will work with the Content Commissioners, the Head of Streaming and Digital, the Head of Planning and Content Management, and other teams across S4C, including technical, business affairs and finance, and the legal teams.
S4C is developing its digital presence across platforms, with a focus on content produced specifically for digital platforms and a vision to attract new audiences to S4C's content on You Tube.

Responsibilities
- Lead, define and develop S4C's digital and multi-platform content strategy.
- Work closely with the Content Commissioners, the Head of Streaming and Digital, the Head of Planning and Content Management, and other teams including technical, business affairs, finance, and legal.
- Develop S4C's presence across digital platforms and respond to changes in viewing practices.
- Produce digital content across various platforms and shape a vision for attracting new audiences to S4C's content on You Tube.
- Contribute to roll-out of a new multi-platform content strategy and foster a positive, inclusive working environment aligned with core values: At your Best, Proud of S4C, Celebrate Everyone, Go for it.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Experience leading digital content strategy and content production for multi-platform environments.
- Deep understanding of digital content production and evolving viewing practices.
- Proven ability to lead creatively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to develop strategies that attract new audiences and grow digital presence.
- Terms and Benefits
- Salary: a competitive salary not less than £70,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
- Working hours: 35.75 per week; flexibility including outside office hours, certain weekends and bank holidays may be required.
- Agreement: 4-year initial agreement.
- Probationary period: 3 months.
- Holidays: 26 days plus statutory bank holidays; pro-rata if part-time.
- Pension: Group Personal Pension Scheme; S4C contributes 10% of basic salary; employee contribution 5%.
