The predicted salary is between 45000 - 50000 £ per year.
Salary: £45K/£50 negotiable according to experience. Permanent position - 4 days (30 hours) a week with option for some remote working (25 days holiday plus statutory days pro rata). Flexibility in working hours required, during busy periods and due to current growth may develop into full time.

Our clients are dedicated to preserving and celebrating the architectural and cultural heritage of Sussex. Our high-profile Awards programme, educational bursaries, and the new Skills Taster Day initiative are at the heart of our mission to support excellence in conservation and traditional skills.
As the Chief Executive Officer you will be covering the below with two support staff:
- Provide strategic leadership and work closely with Trustees to deliver the Trust's charitable objectives.
- Events and media organisation.
- Lead fundraising and development, with a proven track record of securing high income annually.
- Build and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including funders, sponsors, local authorities, and heritage organisations.
- Deliver impactful programmes and events across Sussex, including the Trust Awards and Biennial Fundraising Dinner.
- Champion education and skills development, particularly in traditional and conservation techniques.

- Senior leadership experience in the heritage, cultural, or charitable sectors.
- A passion for the built and natural heritage of Sussex.
