HGV Technician/Fitter - Widnes - Full Time or Part Time

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Technician/Fitter to join our team, based at our site in Widnes . We are looking for a practical, reliable and experienced fitter who is confident working on fuel and chemical vehicles/tankers and enjoys a varied, hands-on role. Key Duties Servicing and repairing fuel and chemical vehicles/tankers Preparing vehicles for MOT and ADR testing Carrying out general maintenance and repairs Diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues Working with mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Carrying out other general workshop duties as needed Skills & Experience Extensive practical experience as a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice-trained and/or time-served preferred Experience working on HGVs, tankers or similar vehicles would be advantageous HGV Class 1 licence preferred but not essential Competent in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic work Able to work independently and use your own initiative Reliable, practical and safety-conscious Positive attitude Hours & Salary Part-time or full-time hours available Competitive salary hours and salary negotiable depending on experience Job Type: Full-time / Part-time Location: Widnes Work in person
