Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be responsible for the pre-commissioning / commissioning of the controls for all plant and equipment. Communicating regularly with the project management team, you will provide progress reports and identify snags and issues that are impeding the commissioning process. You will be required to liaise with the client and sub-contractors to ensure correct implementation of design is achieved. On completion of commissioning, you will be responsible for demonstrating, training, and handing over the system to the end client. Software and product training will be provided; however, previous experience with other control systems would be a benefit. Previous experience in the commissioning of all aspects of HVAC controls and building management systems is desirable. The ability to work independently or within a team is crucial, and knowledge of certain non-proprietary protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and mBus would be advantageous. Knowledge and experience of IT infrastructure and networking is also useful. A full UK driving licence will also be required. As a southern engineer, most of the work will be within the London area, although you will be expected to cover projects across the South should the need arise. You may also be asked to operate outside of your base area from time to time. Key Responsibilities: Commission plant and equipment in line with the client’s specification. Check and configure, and where necessary modify, project software and documentation. Implement panel modification when applicable. Undertake client system demonstrations and user training. #J-18808-Ljbffr
