Experienced store person. Must have experience working in a busy store person role, full UK driving license, a telehandler license is required. Able to log and track items into stores using computer system to monitor. Additional training including employee benefits program with high street stores. Here are some of the activities you’ll get involved in:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of plant hire
- Take delivery of new stock, checking all delivery notes and reporting any discrepancies
- Undertake regular and frequent inspections of stores buildings and external storage compounds
- Maintain a safe and tidy store area in accordance with health & safety practices
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
- Assist with quarterly and full stock taking activities
- Loading and offloading of vehicles by forklift, once training has been completed
