We are currently recruiting for an experienced Design Manager to join a Tier 1 main contractor on a school project based in Harlow. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term contract with a highly reputable contractor delivering a key education scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the design process from pre-construction through delivery
  • Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Ensure all design information is compliant, on programme, and aligned with project requirements
  • Drive design solutions that support buildability, cost efficiency, and programme targets
  • Attend and lead design team meetings, reporting to senior project stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Design Manager working with Tier 1 or major contractors
