We are currently seeking a freelance Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to work on a major alliance project in Swillington. Reporting to the Programme Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will take the lead on the monthly commercial reporting cycle for their allocated schemes/batches. The role will involve administering the Alliance change control process and supporting the Alliance Manager with monthly payment applications. You will be responsible for monitoring costs, forecasts and budgets, ensuring accurate and timely commercial reporting, and providing strong commercial support throughout the delivery of the schemes. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Candidates should have previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, Cost Manager or Commercial Manager, ideally within civil engineering and water. Strong knowledge of cost reporting, change control and payment applications is essential, along with excellent communication and commercial management skills. This role comes with a long term contract and top day rate outside IR35 on offer
