We are looking for a senior engineer to work for a major civil engineering company to oversee the early parts of a project near Seaford. This will include travelling between Seaford and the office in Tonbridge.
Responsibilities:
- Pre‑construction engineering duties such as ITPs, material take‑offs, design TQs/RFIs, early site establishment setting out, as‑built surveying, daily site records and permit to break ground.
- Other duties may include RAMS, site supervision and material testing.
Main works:
- Replacing the existing narrow bridge over a river with a new off‑line bridge featuring a wider carriageway and footpath.
- Vegetation clearance, ground investigations, sheet piling, reinforced concrete, drainage, ducting, surfacing and landscaping.
Qualifications:
- CSCS card.
- SSSTS.
- EUSR.
- First Aid.
Contract Details:
- Minimum 3‑month contract and top rate available.
