Solution is currently working in partnership with a fast-growing national Civil Engineering contractor who are looking to appoint talented and ambitious well-trained Quantity Surveyor to undertake an integral role on a newly secured water project based in Sawbridgeworth, Herts completed on behalf of a leading water provider.
Your remit will include:
- Lead all civil engineering site activities, managing operatives and sub-contractors to deliver safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
- Oversee budgets, resources, and programme to achieve project objectives and maximise project profit.
- Manage site administration, including risk assessments, method statements, work package plans, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, environmental management plans, and quality plans.
- Promote health, safety, quality, environmental, and mental wellbeing leadership on site.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Encourage innovation, value engineering, and continuous improvement.
This role offers ambitious individuals the opportunity to undertake a wider remit and fast track to Senior Quantity Surveyor level. Our client holds a fantastic reputation and culture.
You will currently be employed by a Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil engineering company with sound exposure to NEC form of contracts, ideally including water projects (not essential).
