My client, a leading main contractor in the UK, requires a General Foreman to assist them on a Risk Management Flood scheme located in Stoke on Trent. This is a £10 million scheme working on the environmental side. The work itself will entail the repair of a 450m concrete channel and raising the existing flood defence walls from 1.5m to 1.8m to increase the capacity of the channel. The project is set to protect 300 homes and businesses from flooding as well as helping to regenerate the town centre area.
Daily duties will include but are not limited to:
- Daily task briefings
- Overseeing work
- Overseeing health and safety
- Liaising with Project Manager
- Pushing the job
