Job Description:
A forward-thinking building services consultancy is looking for a Senior HVAC Engineer to join their award-winning team in Central London.
This pure building services engineering consultancy is well renowned for working with famous retail brands and iconic architecture practices, delivering some of the most aesthetically pleasing and challenging projects in London and Europe.
In this role, you will work in a client-facing position, leading design projects from early conceptual stages through to contractor monitoring and sign-off. You will design complex HVAC systems and collaborate with their environmental team (Architecture Background) to deliver aesthetically pleasing spaces.
With support from the Directors, you will manage client relationships, oversee project delivery, and lead the project design team to achieve these goals.
Candidates should have the following experience:
- An appreciation for good architecture and building design
- Experience working on projects within the commercial, retail, and master planning sectors
- Degree level education in HVAC/Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or similar
- Experience managing projects in client-facing roles
- Passion for sustainability within the built environment
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking briefs from clients and Directors, delivering projects from inception to completion
- Producing HVAC drawings, reports, specifications, guidance notes, and correspondence, ensuring quality and technical accuracy
- Participating in design team meetings, client meetings (alongside a Director if applicable), pre-contract, and post-contract meetings
- Advising clients on HVAC solutions to meet their practical and aesthetic requirements
