This role will be working for one of the largest privately owned construction firms in the UK and they are looking for a Civils Supervisor working within the Waste Network on projects throughout London. As a supervisor, you will oversee up to three teams working on minor sewer improvement projects throughout London.
Here are some of the activities that you will be involved in:
- Leading, motivating and developing your team
- Meeting contractual obligations in terms of safety, compliance, timelines and budgets
- Coordinating and organising services before teams start work
- Identifying traffic management needs
- Communicating with property owners regarding access plans
- Conducting site inspections to ensure teams are adhering to required HSEQ standards
- Completing risk assessments, writing incident reports and facilitating team briefings or toolbox talks
About you: You should have great communication skills, common sense and be comfortable with technology; these are all important skills to be successful in the role. A full, clean driving licence and a valid NRSWA qualification are required. Candidates within the utilities sector, ideally with qualifications such as SHEA Water and experience of confined spaces, are encouraged to apply.
