Solution Recruitment are currently assisting a very busy M&E Contractor, based in London. They are seeking a M&E Planner to join our team. The role will involve reporting to the Project Director, developing time plans on projects to ensure that the project is completed safely, on time and within budget. This role will not be restricted to working on a singular project and may work across multiple projects.
THE ROLE:
- Review tender information and produce programme and labour histograms.
- Prepare and monitor programme in line with procurement and delivery agreements.
- Plan and monitor project logistics.
- Liaising with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise and revise programme to mitigate delays.
- Liaise with main contractor and client to discuss programme.
- Attending client meetings, site meetings and subcontractor meetings where required.
- Present information for internal and external meetings on the project.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Minimum of 5 years in similar position.
- Proficient skill level required with construction scheduling.
- Relevant Degree or Qualifications desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills including writing reports and presenting.
- Organisation, Time management and Planning.
- Excellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of Planning software – Microsoft Project & ASTA.
- Strong Problem solving.
- Budget and financial management.
- Leadership.
- Work as part of a team and individually.
- A Site Management background is beneficial.
