My client is now looking to hire a Freelance Project Manager in their Eastern Region to work on Roads and Highways infrastructure schemes in Suffolk.

Main Duties for the Project Manager:

  • Management of site staff, operatives, and sub-contractors.
  • Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments, and Project Management plans.
  • Understand tender allowances and monitor contract loss against agreed budgets.
  • Prepare and monitor programmes of work.
  • Foster good relations and reputation with clients.
  • Assess and engage sub-contractors.
  • Manage contracts to ensure timely and profitable completion.
  • Supervise, mentor, and assist in the career development of junior staff.
  • The successful candidate will need to have experience with main contractor roles and highways/road schemes.

Candidates should have relevant industry qualifications (HND/ HNC/ BEng) or equivalent, an up-to-date SMSTS qualification, and an appropriate CSCS card.
