My client, a Tier 1 Main Contractor, is looking for a Project Manager (Fibre Optics / Utilities) to support client research and tender activity in this market. A Fibre Optic Project Manager oversees all aspects of fibre optic installation projects, from planning to implementation and closeout.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Allocate resources efficiently. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to stakeholders’ satisfaction.
- Contract Management: Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers. Assign tasks and communicate expected deliverables.
- Quality Assurance: Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards. Ensure reliable and resilient technical solutions.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Keep stakeholders informed throughout the project. Synchronise all project elements for successful completion.
- Additional duties: May include preconstruction/business development activities in developing opportunities in this market.
