The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Due to an increase in workload on their HS2 works in Birmingham, our client, a major Utility Contractor in the UK, is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to support Utility Diversion works in Birmingham.
Duties to include:
- Ensure effective implementation of safety, health, and environmental systems and procedures for legal compliance.
- Ensure adherence to the business management system and applicable processes.
- Identify and report any gaps in documentation, competence, and systems using the appropriate change request procedure.
- Deliver on the published annual SHE business-specific ‘Targets and Objectives’ to ensure continual improvement.
- Participate in external audits/verification of company accreditations.
To be considered for this role, you will hold NEBOSH and ideally Tech IOSH and have experience in working with Management systems including ISO1. You will also ideally have Utilities or Civil Engineering experience with HS2 an advantage but not essential.
