Our client, a Tier 1 Contractor who turn over in excess of 3b and are part of one of the largest Construction Groups in the world, are seeking to secure the services of an experienced Procurement Manager to assist with recent Water Tenders that they are working on.
The works are predominantly major Water Treatment Works Upgrades, focusing on the Civil Engineering and Construction aspects.
Duties:
- Managing the overall tender processes.
- Negotiating/finalising the terms and conditions of subcontracts and bespoke subcontracts.
- Evaluating the reliability of tenderers to enhance cost accuracy.
- Reporting forecasted value of Procurement to Project Control.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years in a Procurement Manager position held with Main Contractors and MUST have Water experience to your name. You will also have solid interpersonal skills with Contractor and Client Liaison being a large part of this role.
In return, an excellent day rate is on offer which is Outside IR35 and comes with a long-term ongoing contract.
