We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Repairs Field Service Engineer to join our team. While the role is based out of Saffron Walden, it is primarily field-based. Due to the nature of visiting client sites, candidates do not need to live close to Saffron Walden; however, they will be expected to spend approximately 1-2 days per week at the Saffron Walden base. This role involves travelling to client locations to carry out machine repairs, diagnostics, and fault finding on a range of electrical equipment. The position requires strong technical knowledge, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend client sites to perform machine repairs, electrical diagnostics, and fault finding
  • Service, maintain, and repair a range of electrical systems and equipment
  • Identify faults efficiently and implement effective repair solutions
  • Carry out installations, testing, and commissioning where required
  • Provide clear and professional communication with clients on-site
  • Complete accurate service reports and documentation

Travel Requirements
