Overview
Senior Cloud Engineer (Microsoft/Power Platforms) at Solus – an Aviva company is a hybrid role with 50% in our Stansted office and 50% remote. We are looking for an expert to lead the innovation of data analysis tools, automation and infrastructure within our Microsoft technology stack for our Award-Winning Accident Repair Network. Our mission is to develop the tools and technology that enable our teams to get our customers back to normal, often using cutting-edge solutions. The candidate will report to the Platform Manager and work with the Systems Architect and Product Team to lead in the development of automation and Power Platform solutions while supporting our bespoke IT systems. This role is fundamental to our growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain solutions within the Microsoft technology stack in collaboration with the Systems Architect.
- Work with stakeholders to improve team processes using Power Platform automation.
- Assist with IT Change and Problem Management following ITIL v4 guidelines, using advanced troubleshooting, and coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve issues promptly.
- Support IT governance, ensure security best practices and disaster recovery plans, and raise concerns, risks and cyber incidents to IT leadership.
- Maintain detailed documentation for system configuration, procedures and troubleshooting; collaborate with Helpdesk to resolve incidents and process service requests.
- Provide guidance and support to the wider IT team on infrastructure design and build; monitor system and device performance and error logs.
- Be able to commute to the Stansted office as the role is hybrid (2 days a week in the office).
- Work with Azure, Power Platforms, Entra ID, Intune, and ITIL v4 practices; knowledge of O365, Autopilot, Defender and SSO is beneficial.

Relevant apprenticeship or higher education.
