Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair various machinery and equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our facility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Diagnose faults in machinery and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working on-site.
- Provide technical support to other departments as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting purposes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.
