Overview: You start your day knowing the vehicle in front of you needs careful diagnosis, logical thinking and skilled hands. Nothing is rushed - the priority is getting it right. The role: As a Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (MET) Technician, you'll play a vital role in the repair journey, ensuring vehicles are restored to a safe, fully-functioning and high-quality standard following accident damage.

Responsibilities: In this role, you'll:

  • Strip, repair and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in line with manufacturer methods
  • Re-assemble vehicles accurately, ready for paint and final sign-off
  • Work closely with Panel, Paint and production colleagues to support repair flow
  • Maintain safe, tidy working practices and professional standards

This is a role for people who enjoy problem-solving, variety and responsibility, and who take pride in first-time-right repairs.

Qualifications: What matters is that you bring relevant experience in an automotive repair environment and a structured, safety-focused approach to your work. That experience may include:

  • Experience as a MET Technician, or a strong background as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic looking to move into MET
  • A quality-first mindset and strong attention to detail
