The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.
If you are based at Warrington, Bolton or Daresbury then you would work hybrid as per our hybrid work policy. If you are based at any of the other sites then they would work 100% remote from home. The contract covers any shift between Monday-Friday, 8:00am-8:00pm, as well as Saturday mornings from 9:00am-1:00pm. The current working pattern is Monday to Friday, either an 8:00am-4:00pm shift or a 9:00am-5:00pm shift, on a rota basis.

Responsibilities
The role:
- Our Vehicle Damage Assessors are part of the Total Loss Technical Team.
- This role will involve working with our customers to find the right solutions for them by demonstrating our values and work principles, and those of Aviva.
- You will provide solutions to our customers that are accurate, fair, efficient, and compassionate after the total loss of their vehicle.
- With training, you will learn total loss valuation methodology and use this to determine fair and accurate values presented to the customers.
- Use all available tools to calculate accurate and fair assessments.
- Apply the salvage categories.
- Be an active team member in a collaborative working environment, focusing on the customer and what matters to them.
- Promote customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external suppliers and internal business areas.
- Identify repairable vehicles.
The Solus team works together to create a supportive and collaborative environment. You will also be required to give technical support to our Total Loss team of advisors, across Solus and Aviva, which focuses on the customer and what matters to them. No two customers are the same and our focus on 'getting people back to normal' is at the heart of what we do.
Qualifications
Desirable qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience or knowledge of working within the automotive repair industry.
- VDA ATA accredited - Required.
- AQP - Required.
- Customer service skills - Experience of delivery of high-quality service to customers.
- Planning and organisational skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability managing workflow across a number of departments/Specialisms.
- Coaching/Training skills - Advantageous.
