Are you looking for a position where you can make a difference, constantly learn new things and be at the forefront of technology, working as part of the Aviva family? We are looking for Bodyshop Technicians for our Nightshift at one of our largest sites in the Midlands.
Responsibilities
The Role: Solus MET Technicians are pivotal in our customers’ story, working in partnership with repair consultants and the production team to get the best outcome. Reporting directly to the site Production Lead, it is our Solus METs that remove and assess any additional damage and refit to our high standards safeguarding customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in general production or automotive body repair environment
- Be able to lead, motivate and inspire your team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work to group and site key performance measures
- Embed a team working culture
- Able to identify the cause of issues and blockages, which interrupt the flow of work
- Completion of performance reviews and development
Desirable qualifications and experience:
- Working knowledge and experience of vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
- ATA MET accreditation
- LCV experience
- Relevant mechanical and suspension qualifications
- Steering Geometry alignment and adjustment
Additional Technical Skills
- Glazing
- Air Conditioning system evacuation and recharge
- Working with Plastic repairs
