Solum Surveying is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Utility Surveyors to grow with us. Are you an experienced Utility Surveyor looking for good-quality projects, modern equipment and an employer that values your expertise? Solum Surveying is expanding its utilities team and offers the independence of a smaller company with the stability and opportunities of an established surveying business.

Salary: £32,000–£45,000, depending on experience

Location: Worcester and surrounding region

Hours: Full time

Vehicle: Company vehicle provided

The role

You will undertake utility surveys across a range of construction and infrastructure sites, producing accurate information for clients while working safely and professionally.

Typical responsibilities:

  • Undertaking utility surveys using EML and GPR equipment
  • Identifying and mapping underground services
  • Recording accurate site data
  • Producing or supporting clear survey drawings and reports
  • Liaising professionally with clients and site teams
  • Following RAMS and company safety procedures

What you’ll need

Essential:

  • Relevant utility surveying experience
  • Competence using EML and GPR equipment
  • Good understanding of safe site working
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • PAS 128 experience
  • Relevant CSCS card
  • Experience with AutoCAD or surveying software
  • Industry-related qualifications
