WORK FROM HOME - 1 day in the office every 2 weeks
Salary circa £80,000 - £90,000 + package (depending on experience)
Civil Engineering projects
Senior Estimator required from a Civil Engineering background by a very reputable and well recognised civil engineering contracting business.
Working in a small but experienced team you will be responsible for the accurate pricing of tenders valued from £1m - £20m.
Typical Duties:
- First principles pricing of projects
- Take offs, measurement and rates build up
- BOQ measurement
- Spotting risk and reward opportunities
- Attending tender adjudication meetings with Directors
- Attending prestart meetings at project stage
- Client and subcontractor communication when required
Home working predominantly – office once every 2 weeks or for project adjudications
- Overseeing and managing tenders and bids workload individually and sometimes with the team
- Pricing tenders valued between £1m - £20m typically
- Dealing with a very established Blue Chip client base
- Reporting to the business shareholders
- Working for a very well-established business, a well known contracting business
Covering civil engineering including but not limited to:
- Roads
- Structures
- Infrastructure Projects
- Public Realm project
- Earthworks
- Bridges, Canals and Environmental projects
