Experienced SHEQ advisor required for the Midlands region to work for a well-recognised and reputable civil engineering business on a variety of sized projects. The SHEQ Advisor will oversee the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality advisory works on between 8-12 sites of varying sizes, generally visiting 1-2 sites each day. This is an active role out on site and involves communication skills as well as SHEQ knowledge within the construction market.
SHEQ Advisor duties:
- Manage the expectation of Safety on sites
- Check pre-prepared RAMS
- Alter pre-prepared RAMS to suit site needs
- Observe site differences and note changes
- Inspect sites and maintain good relationships with site teams
- Be digitally focused and keep technology up to date
- Create any reports and report any issues to HSEQ Director
