Typical Duties:
- EARTHWORK ESTIMATING: First principles pricing of projects
- Take offs, measurement and rates build up
- Value engineering throughout tenders at times
- Sequencing and/or programming
- Spotting risk and reward opportunities
- Attending tender adjudication meetings with Directors and Clients
- Client communication and relationship building
- Overseeing and managing tenders and bids workload through a team
- Pricing earthworks tenders valued between £500k and £8m typically
- Dealing with a very established Blue Chip client base
- Reporting to the business shareholders

A very well-respected Civil Engineering business that operates on projects ranging from £3m - £25m in value across the UK, covering civil engineering including but not limited to major commercial and industrial civil engineering infrastructure.
